Taking care of your ceramics

My ceramics are wheel-thrown by hand with great care and created for everyday use. The majority of the collection is durable and requires no special precautions — equally suitable for daily meals as for special occasions.

To preserve the quality of your ceramics over time, I still recommend a few simple guidelines:

• Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as going directly from the refrigerator to very hot contents.
• Hand washing is recommended to preserve the surface for as long as possible, although the pieces are dishwasher safe.
• Handle and stack with care to avoid chips and impacts.
• Small variations in shape, colour and glaze are a natural part of the handmade process and make each piece unique.
• Any cutlery marks can usually be polished away using a mild cream cleaner and a slightly abrasive sponge.

With proper care, your ceramics will be a lasting companion for many years to come ♡
