For Gunnebo House & Gardens, the Castle collection began its journey. Together with Patrik Sewerin, Carina Johansson developed a handmade tableware collection shaped by a clear vision for feeling, expression and function.

Based on Patrik’s wishes, several different ideas were developed and later evolved into the Castle collection. The simple and pared-back decoration enhances the wheel-thrown expression and allows each piece to carry the feeling of genuine craftsmanship.

The tableware was created to feel timeless and alive, with organic forms reminiscent of the reliefs found in hand-hewn timber walls.
