Mirabelle by Ørjan Johannessen is located on the third floor of Beckerwyc House in Bekkjarvik, Norway. The restaurant builds its gastronomy around an open kitchen, presence and an exclusive menu inspired by the island’s culinary heritage.
The handmade ceramics were created to interact with the restaurant’s expression and highlight dishes where local ingredients, flavours from the sea and modern gastronomy take centre stage.
Mirabelle’s vision, Island Gastronomy, draws strength from the landscape, the ocean and the traditions surrounding Bekkjarvik. The tableware becomes part of a complete experience where food, craftsmanship and place come together in a personal way.
Ørjan Johannessen is the winner of Bocuse d'Or 2015 and, together with his team, has been awarded a Michelin star on seven occasions. The collaboration reflects a gastronomic ambition at the very highest level, where craftsmanship, ingredients and details are at the centre.
